Do you not think it *might* be user error or a corrupted download of the OMOD (you *did* use the OMOD and not manual install, right?) rather than the mod being a POS? Regardless, I've already told you, try BT Mod, that's the other one that tends to come up if you look for a UI mod for Oblivion, but I've not personally used it as I tested DarNified first and decided to stick with it There's also DarkUI, but the non-DarN version is listed by the mod author as outdated and probably not stable, and superceded by the DarkUId DarN I think this is a standalone mod, so you wouldn't have to re-install DarNified, but I think I did try to install this at one point and had some sort of trouble with it, can't remember what, think it basically just wouldn't install. It is the second most popular Oblivion mod of all time on the Nexus.
